Indianapolis got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jesse Walker, who frustrated Austin hitters en route to a 2-0 Eagles triumph at Eagles Stadium. Indianapolis, at 25-29, holds down third place in the National Conference North East Division.

The game was scoreless in the bottom of the seventh, when Walker hit a sacrifice fly to put his team in front, 1-0. All told, Walker threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Adam Ponder. "That was the problem."
