Swan, Fire Too Much for Giants
The San Francisco Fire defeated the Detroit Giants by the score of 7-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Skyler Swan. Swan was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Fire on the day. Marcos Rosas was credited with the save for San Francisco, his 7th of the season. With the win over Detroit, the Fire improved to 24-29.

Swan contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for San Francisco in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Swan took a slider from Quincy Donaldson and stroked the home run to right. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Fire to leap in front, 4-2.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Swan.
