The Dallas Dragons had to overcome a big game from Toronto first baseman Phil Tibbits to leave Tennant Healthcare Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-4. Tibbits went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Mike Braasch, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, nailed down the save. By defeating Toronto, the first-place Dragons improved to 32-21.

Akihide Sera helped out the Dallas cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Sera told the Dallas Times.
