Nightmare Make It 5 In a Row with 8-5 Triumph Over Fountain Hills
New York registered a win at Nightmare Stadium by beating the Fountain Hills 23ers, 8-5. Pitcher Joe Schroeder was one reason why the Nightmare triumphed. New York reliever Gary Montgomery picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Miguel Soto absorbed the loss. Justin Gravely earned the save for New York, his 7th.

Nick Seago cracked a home run off Miguel Soto in the bottom of the eighth. His 3-run blast put the Nightmare on top, 8-5. In all, Seago had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said New York manager Joey Bishop.

New York is now 22-30, while Fountain Hills is 22-30.
