A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter Jerry Robinson, who finished 2nd in the NC in home runs with 42 in 2023, led the Indianapolis Eagles to a win over the Cincinnati Royals, 7-5. Brendon Conway collected his 1st save. The Eagles, at 32-18, lead by one game in their division.

In the bottom of the fifth, Bobby Butler delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Indianapolis second baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Eagles in front, 7-5.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Robinson.
