A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Cincinnati Royals and Charleston Shiners.

Cincinnati Royals starter Andy Dooley worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Charleston Shiners, 5-1. The victory makes Cincinnati 4-1.

Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Jay Bloms to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Royals ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Cincinnati manager Justin Aaron.
