The home crowd had a good time watching the Dallas Dragons and Chicago Gangsters get after it.

The Chicago Gangsters knocked off the Dallas Dragons, 5-3, in American Conference action at The Hideout. Chicago pitcher and Flint, Michigan, native Matthew Thomas had an outstanding performance. The save went to Mike Walter, his 11th this season.

Josh Kuhn helped out the Chicago cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher was 1-4.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Kuhn.

The Gangsters raised their record to 20-29.
