Bear Leads Gangsters to Win
Jason Bear left his imprint on the 6-2 Chicago win against the Dallas Dragons. Bear, who is tied for 9th in the AC with a .393 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Josh Wilkes got the win, improving to 3-7. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Nick Thompson earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Bear had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Mike Braasch, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Gangsters a 5-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Bear.

Bear said his team "played with focus and determination."

The Gangsters improved their record to 20-29 with the win over Dallas.
