Behind a solid performance from right fielder Mark Riley, the Mexico City Aztecs defeated the Maine Pines, 6-4. Riley was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Aztecs. Tommy LaBiche, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Jeff Cox recorded his 14th save for Mexico City.

Mexico City took a 6-4 lead on Riley's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Ryan Flamino in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Mexico City to the win.
