The Indianapolis Eagles knocked off the San Francisco Fire, 6-2, in National Conference action at Eagles Stadium. Indianapolis pitcher and Pasadena, California, native John Hennig had an outstanding performance. James Gibson sewed up the save, his 7th. With the win over San Francisco, the Eagles improved to 31-18.

Mike Dallis helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Eagles.

"I felt good up there," said Dallis. "I saw the ball well."
