Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Mike Pierskalla, who finished 4th in the NC in wins above replacement with 5.2 last year, the Hollywood Stars defeated the Maine Pines, 10-2. The save went to Wade Vesperman, number 1 for him. With the win, Hollywood upped its record to 27-21.
