The New York Nightmare dealt the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles a 3-2 loss at Nightmare Stadium. Jesus Cardona was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Sean Muzzy earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts in 8 innings of work. Getting the save was Jeff Groves, his 11th.

New York second baseman Bill Geeslin made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. In the contest, Geeslin went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
