Nightmare Need Extra Frames to Get Past Invaders
Ron Brook did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Oakland Invaders from losing the game, 7-5, to the New York Nightmare in 10 innings at Howard Terminal. Brook was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The win went to Chris Wyzard in relief, making him now 5-2. Jason Henley took the loss for Oakland. With the win over Oakland, the Nightmare improved to 20-27.

New York used the clutch hitting of Brady Louis to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Nightmare ahead, 7-5. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

In postgame remarks, Louis said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
