Dragons Lose Late to Gangsters
At The Hideout, the Dallas Dragons and Chicago Gangsters were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Glen Helms made an impact in the 7-5 Chicago win over Dallas. Helms was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Nick Slover collected his 12th save.

Helms had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 curveball from Pat DeChant, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Gangsters a 7-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Helms.

"Nice win for us," said Helms. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The Gangsters saw their record improve to 18-29.
