Ricky Ordonez was instrumental in his team's 12-2 triumph over the Syracuse Scorpions. The third baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for the Philadelphia Marauders. The win puts Philadelphia at 3-2.

With Philadelphia leading 4-2 in the top of the eighth, Ordonez hit a fastball from Dave Holzman for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Marauders ahead, 7-2.
