Eagles Get Clutch Win Versus Hollywood
The Indianapolis Eagles faced a tough opponent in Hollywood pitcher Logan Mayhew, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Eagles Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Mayhew went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Indianapolis pitcher Justin Thompson got the win. He's now 4-0. Steve Ray was tagged with the loss. James Gibson collected save number 6.

Bobby Butler went 2-3 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Indianapolis. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Steve Ray. It was his 8th RBI of the season.

Butler told a Indianapolis Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.

The victory gives Indianapolis a record of 29-17.
