Syracuse pitcher John Froerer had a large part in his team beating the Dallas Dragons, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Ken Allbaugh locked down his 6th save. The win puts Syracuse at 15-31.

The Scorpions picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"John is a tough competitor," said Syracuse manager Ricardo Lopez.
