Dallas Absorbs 7-1 Loss to Syracuse
|
Syracuse turned a good effort from starter Juan Rosales into a win over the Dallas Dragons at Scorpion Stadium. The Scorpions won the game, 7-1. Rosales picked up the win for Syracuse, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 6-1. Today's win puts Syracuse at 25-21, while Dallas falls to 29-17.
Chris Service went 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Syracuse. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Jonathan Allen. It was his 38th hit of the season.
"Feels good to get the job done," Service said after the game.
