Sea Turtles Saddle Brawlers with 5-3 Loss
Daytona Beach pitcher Antonio Sanchez had a large part in his team beating the Cleveland Brawlers, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Daytona Beach reliever Fernando Hernandez picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Josh McQuaid took the loss. Jeff Adams earned the save for Daytona Beach, his 10th of the year.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Art MacDonald? The 22-year old left fielder MacDonald stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Daytona Beach up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We were the better team," crowed MacDonald.

Daytona Beach now sits at 25-20, while Cleveland falls to 22-23.
