Henkemeyer Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Jim Henkemeyer said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Nightmare Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The Oakland shortstop had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the New York Nightmare, leading his club to victory, 10-4.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Henkemeyer said later."

Jim Henkemeyer doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.

So far this year, Henkemeyer is hitting .285 with 8 home runs.
