Wet weather did not postpone the Syracuse-Dallas ballgame.

The Syracuse Scorpions converted a terrific effort from starter Tyler Kraus into a win over the Dallas Dragons at Scorpion Stadium. The Scorpions won the game by a final score of 5-1. The winner was Kraus. He threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Steve McClung.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Scorpion Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the American Conference action.

"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Kraus.

With the win, the Scorpions are 14-31.
