David Fry, who is tied for 5th in the AC in strikeouts with 42, had a strong outing for the Dallas Dragons against the Syracuse Scorpions at Scorpion Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Rick Ways earned the save for Dallas, his 4th of the year. Dallas is now 16-28.

Dallas used the timely hitting of Justin Bellamy to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dragons on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Bellamy after the game.
