Boston parlayed a decent outing from starter Danny Offen into a solid win over the Halifax Heathens. The final score was 5-4. Josh Becker came out of the bullpen to earn the win. A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Heathens allowed the Whistlers to score the winning run.

"Danny has got a slow heartbeat," said Boston manager Mike Plocher. "He doesn't panic or anything."
