Royals Drop Trash Pandas, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Cincinnati Royals and the Toronto Trash Pandas, fireballing 6' 7" left-hander Josh Huggins proved to be the difference. The Cincinnati left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Royals win. The Royals have now reeled off 7 straight wins.
The Royals got a clutch hit from first baseman Aaron Jalbert. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Royals.
"I'm proud to wear a Cincinnati jersey," Jalbert told the Cincinnati Citizen. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
