The Vancouver Mounties picked up a win at The Castle, knocking off the Cincinnati Royals, 6-3. On the mound for Vancouver was right-hander Justin Watson. He played a key role in the triumph. Watson yielded 3 runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-3. The save went to Adam Ryan, number 6 for him.

Vancouver used a clutch at-bat from Kevin Schneider to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Mounties ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Schneider. "And not try to do too much."

The Mounties win now puts them at 49-78.
