McKibbins Hits 2 home runs in Eagles Win
Ian McKibbins was a vital contributor to the 8-7 Indianapolis victory over Austin. The Eagles left fielder went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Indianapolis now has a record of 63-63 with the win.

Indianapolis took a 8-3 lead on McKibbins's 9th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Jim Ostrom in the top of the seventh, propelled Indianapolis to the win.

In comments to the Indianapolis Bulletin, McKibbins admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
