Pearson Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dragons
The Dallas Dragons beat the Syracuse Scorpions, 9-6, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The win was due in part to first baseman Jason Coppa, who went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Dragons lifted their record to 62-64.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when Jay Pearson hit a 3-run home run off two-time All-Star Ken Allbaugh to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went wild.

"That's what this team is about," said Pearson, "picking each other up."
