The Cleveland Wild Things topped the San Francisco Fire, 5-3, with first baseman Steve McKinstry playing a big role. McKinstry went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Wild Things in the win. Cleveland pitcher Mike Walter got the win. He's now 6-9. Taylor Motyl was tagged with the loss. The win has Cleveland at 51-74.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, McKinstry hit a fastball from Taylor Motyl for a 2-run home run. The Wild Things, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We'll put that win in the can," said McKinstry, "and go after the next one."
