Ross Dorough had a big hand in the 11-7 Daytona Beach triumph over Detroit. He rattled off 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 3 runs. Mario Benavidez got the win, improving to 1-2. He held the Giants to 3 runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1.
