Everly Hits 2 home runs in Sea Dogs Win
The Charleston Sea Dogs used the hitting of designated hitter Ben Everly to subdue the Detroit Giants, 7-2. For the game, Everly hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The Sea Dogs now have a record of 74-51 with the win over Detroit.

Everly contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Charleston in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Everly took a fastball from Phil White and stroked the home run to left-center. His 13th home run of the season allowed the Sea Dogs to leap in front, 3-1.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Everly.
