Gangsters Collect 7-5 Win Over Desperados
The Chicago Gangsters defeated the Austin Desperados, 7-5, in 11 innings. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Brandon Titus, who went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Gangsters. The setback makes Austin 26-15.

Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Ryan Atkins to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Gangsters on top, 7-5. For the game, Atkins had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Titus told the Chicago Citizen.
