The Syracuse Scorpions grabbed a win, 11-6, over the Dallas Dragons at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Syracuse left fielder Billy Totten slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Terry Droubay got the win, improving to 3-3. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Scorpions raised their record to 50-73.

Syracuse won the game in part because of Danny Hammang. The designated hitter ripped a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 2-0. For the game, Hammang had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Totten.
