San Francisco Loses Again, 2-1
|
Maine pitcher Matt Graham did his part in helping his team defeat the San Francisco Fire, 2-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. San Francisco now owns a losing streak of 7 games.
The Pines got a big hit from third baseman Eric Hicks. Facing San Francisco pitcher Tristan Fry in the top of the fifth, Hicks pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 17th home run of the season put the Pines ahead, 2-1.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said San Francisco manager Zach Freeman.
