Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Maine Pines and Hollywood Stars.

The Maine Pines did just enough to sneak past the Hollywood Stars, 6-5, at Hollywood Grounds. Maine pitcher Justin Jemison, in particular, had a standout performance. Jemison, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 4 runs.

Maine used the clutch hitting of Skyler Fundis to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Pines the lead, 4-3. For the game, Fundis had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Jemison.

Maine is now 23-18, Hollywood 22-19.
