Rodney Caporn nearly tossed a no-hitter for Indianapolis in a 4-0 Eagles triumph over the San Francisco Fire. The third-place Eagles sport a record of 19-22.

Caporn's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 1 hit. Caporn, who finished 4th in the AC in strikeouts with 294 in 2020, goes to 1-5 on the year with 48 strikeouts.

"I'm happy we won," said Caporn. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
