The Indianapolis Eagles picked up a win at Eagles Stadium, topping the Hollywood Stars, 3-1. On the mound for Indianapolis was left-hander Victor Angel. He played a principal role in the triumph. Indianapolis has won 5 straight, while Hollywood has lost 4 in a row.

Mike Dallis drove in one run for Indianapolis. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Adam Arent. It was his 45th RBI of the season.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Eagles manager Pete DuBay.
