Dragons Need Extra Frames to Get Past Captains
The Dallas Dragons defeated the Tampa Bay Captains, 8-4, at Ahoy Park. Dallas was led by former first round draft pick Carlos Rodriguez, who was 1-2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tampa Bay's current losing streak is now 4 games.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Rodriguez delivered big-time for Dallas, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Mike Grotjohn. The game-changing hit put the Dragons on top, 8-4.
