The San Francisco Fire faced a tough opponent in Indianapolis pitcher Rodney Caporn, but still scratched out a win at Eagles Stadium by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Caporn went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. San Francisco is now 62-59.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Matthew Little came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Indianapolis pitcher Mike Canales, he hit a 1-1 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting San Francisco on top, 3-2.
