Getting offensive support from Rob Black, the New York Nightmare topped the Charleston Sea Dogs, 4-3. Black went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Nightmare. New York reliever Sean Foye was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Ken Allbaugh took the loss. Jeff Groves got the save, his 29th in 32 chances.

Josh Feezor had a direct impact on the outcome. Feezor contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put New York up, 4-3.

After the game, New York manager Tyrone Hairston applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The win makes New York 47-72.
