The San Francisco Fire handed the Cincinnati Royals a sound defeat, 11-3, at The Castle. Jacob Jacob was a main contributor to the win. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for San Francisco. San Francisco reliever Scott Hargraves picked up the win to move to 4-2. Josh Huggins suffered the loss. The last-place Fire improved to 50-67.

Jacob had a key at-bat for San Francisco in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and gave San Francisco an early 2-0 lead.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Jacob after the game.
