Austin Compton was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Syracuse Scorpions. The designated hitter was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Halifax Heathens. Halifax reliever Pat Nicholas picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jared Hall took the loss.
