Scorpions Earn 6-5 Win Versus Trash Pandas
The Syracuse Scorpions had to overcome a big game from Toronto first baseman Paul McComas to leave Scorpion Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning 6-5. McComas went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Scorpions.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Syracuse second baseman John Harris, facing Nelson de Lira, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Scorpions the 6-5 win.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Harris.
