Gangsters Absorb 6-4 Home Loss
The Dallas Dragons topped the Chicago Gangsters by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was right fielder Brian Phillips. Phillips hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Dragons. Bobby Henderson picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 4-9. Mike Braasch was credited with the save for Dallas, his 13th of the season.

The Dragons got a big at-bat from left fielder Joe Robinson. For the game, Robinson was 1-4 with a triple and was hit by a pitch. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 5th triple of the season gave Dallas a 2-1 lead.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Phillips. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
