Eagles Pick Up 7-0 Win Against Vancouver
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Vancouver Caribou and Indianapolis Eagles get after it.
Indianapolis Eagles starter Nick Horrocks turned in an exceptional performance against the Vancouver Caribou at Eagles Stadium, resulting in a Indianapolis win, 7-0. The Caribou, now 61-55, have lost 4 in a row.
The Eagles got a big at-bat from catcher Matt Lepa. For the game, Lepa was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Indianapolis a 2-0 lead.
Horrocks attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
