Big Day for Daniel as Stars Down Trash Pandas, 12-7
|
With first baseman Eric Daniel leading the charge, the Hollywood Stars defeated the Toronto Trash Pandas, 12-7, at Trash Panda Field. Daniel, who is tied for 6th in the NC in RBI with 81, went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Hollywood, at 67-49, is 4 games up in the National Conference West Division.
In the top of the sixth, the Stars took the lead, 5-2, when 24-year old left fielder Aharon Kroyan drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Stars manager Sean Simmers.
