Carolina got a big-time effort from pitcher Justin Berry, but it wasn't enough to keep the Dallas Dragons from winning the game, 4-3. Berry threw 7.0 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. Dallas reliever Mike Heustess was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Nate McClaskey took the loss. The Dragons go to 47-68, putting them last in the American Conference South Division.

Cameron Polen chipped in for Dallas, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3 with a walk.
