Invaders Lose to Dragons, 4-3
The Dragons grabbed a win, 4-3, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Oakland pitcher Jared Trombley. Trombley went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Brandon Jones, the 2nd overall pick in the 2021 draft, earned the save for Dallas. The Dragons go to 47-68 with the win.

Rocky Hawke was 1 for 3 with a walk for Dallas. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Hawke, who is tied for 8th in the AC in bases on balls with 47, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Oakland hurler Tom Paolucci, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Dragons a 4-3 lead.

"We found a way to get it done," Hawke said.
