2019 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Toronto Trash Pandas.

The Cleveland Wild Things took Toronto pitcher Winston Caballero's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Trash Panda Field. The final score had Cleveland getting past the Trash Pandas, 6-3. Caballero went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 7. Josh Holmes got the win, improving to 10-10. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1.

Cleveland used a well-timed hit by Justin Cross to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Wild Things ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Cross called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The Wild Things saw their record improve to 49-65.
