Pat Bounds powered the Phoenix Gladiators to a win over the Carolina Reapers. The final score was 11-6. The Phoenix center fielder was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Ryan Robertson earned the save for Phoenix, his 6th of the year. Phoenix is now 55-59, Carolina 44-70.

Phoenix grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the seventh, when Bounds hit a grand slam home run off B.J. Rudolph. His 18th home run of the season put the Gladiators out in front, 7-6.
