Sea Turtles Win 2-1 Nail-Biter Versus Dragons
The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles beat the Dallas Dragons, 2-1, at Leatherback Park. Starting pitcher Mark Dudley was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Jeff Adams picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-6. Mike Braasch, who is tied for 6th in the AC in saves with 18, was tagged with the loss. The Sea Turtles now own a record of 47-67.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Daytona Beach. That's when Derek Maher hit a solo home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Braasch to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Daytona Beach manager Edwin Gomez.
