Whistlers Lose to Mounties, 6-4
With second baseman Brian Myers leading the charge, the Vancouver Mounties defeated the Boston Whistlers, 6-4, at Mounties Field. Myers, who is tied for 8th in the NC with a .450 slugging percentage, went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. Jaden Mack, who is tied for 3rd in the NC with a 2.35 ERA, was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Chris Brown nailed down his 22nd save.

Center Fielder Mel Aguilar made an impact for Vancouver, when he swatted a 2-run double off Antonio Higuera in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Aguilar went 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

After the game, Vancouver manager Brian Burnett applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.

The Mounties raised their record to 56-58.
