Eagles Earn Late Win
Indianapolis Eagles starter Dusty Nelson found his groove in his team's 6-5 win over the Detroit Giants. The Eagles have an impressive 69-44 record.

Jerry Robinson came through with a big-time hit for Indianapolis. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Nelson.
