Royals Handle New York, Snag 6-1 Win
|
2025 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the New York Nightmare.
The Cincinnati Royals downed the New York Nightmare, 6-1. The hitting star was left fielder Eric Hayes. Hayes went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Royals. The losing streak for New York has now reached 4 games.
In the top of the fourth, Cincinnati shortstop Scott King had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, King stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 1-0, Cincinnati. For the game, he went 1-5.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Hayes.
