The Dallas Dragons locked up a win at Leatherback Park, knocking off the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles, 4-3. On the mound for Dallas was right-hander Ben O'Halloran. He played a major role in the triumph. With the win, Dallas has a record of 51-62. Daytona Beach falls to 46-67.

The Sea Turtles had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Dragons going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old shortstop Jay Pearson came to the plate. Pearson hit a run-scoring double on a 1-2 slider from Daytona Beach hurler Ray Fight. It was Pearson's 8th double of the year.

"Ben just settled in and did what he does," said Dallas manager Edgar Puente.
