The Indianapolis Eagles stormed past the Fountain Hills 23ers, 16-8, at Eagles Stadium. Indianapolis designated hitterJerry Robinson , who is on pace for 104 RBI this season, led the hit parade. He slugged 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times. Justin Thompson snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Bryan Hallberg suffered the loss. At 67-44, the Eagles find themselves in second place in the National Conference North East Division.

With Indianapolis leading 10-5 in the bottom of the fifth, Robinson came up to bat against Fountain Hills pitcher Pedro Rodriguez. Robinson hit a slider to left for a grand slam home run. His 32nd home run of the season put the Eagles on top, 14-5.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Robinson told the Indianapolis Gazette.
