Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Dallas Dragons and Carolina Reapers.

Due in large part to shortstop Jay Pearson, the Dallas Dragons sunk the Carolina Reapers, 4-3. Pearson was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Nick Kirshner notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-2.

Pearson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 sinker from Roy Walk, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Dragons a 4-2 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Pearson.

"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager Julio Rodriguez.

The Reapers, now 48-62, have lost 12 in a row.
