Reapers Stumble, Lose to Dragons
Riding the 3-hit performance of the slugging catcher Craig Murphy, the Dallas Dragons stopped the Carolina Reapers, 8-2, in 9 innings. Mike Fisher earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0. The Dragons now have a mark of 49-61.

Dallas got a lift in the bottom of the sixth from left fielder Chris Beasley, who hit a fastball to left-center for a solo home run. His 23rd home run of the season put the Dragons up, 3-2.
